The Smart Media Folder within your account is the location for any images uploaded from your Desktop as Cover Images or through the Website Editor that are not associated with, or uploaded to, specific Galleries.
To access your account's Smart Media Folder, follow these steps:
- In your Zenfolio account, click on the Galleries icon on the left-hand side.
- In the My Library panel that appears, click on Smart Media. If the My Library panel does not open on the left-hand side automatically, click on the Galleries icon again.
Once you're in the Smart Media Folder, you will see ALL images that have been added here. Keep in mind that the images present in the Smart Media Folder are any images that were uploaded to your website Blocks directly from your Desktop, uploaded Cover Images from your Desktop, or images uploaded directly to the Smart Media Folder.
You can also use the tabs at the top of the Smart Media Folder page to filter the images you wee by those uploaded through the Website and those Thumbnails that have been uploaded as Cover Images.
Smart Media Image Management
- In the Smart Media Folder, hover over an image and click on the
vertical elipsis icon.
- In the menu that appears you can Edit Media Details, Move, Replace, Download, and Delete.
- Edit Media Details will allow you to edit the image Title, Display Name, Alt-Text, Caption, Keywords, Watermark, etc.
- Move allows you to move the images in the Smart Media Folder to any other actual Gallery in your account.
- Replace allows you to upload a replacement image for the image that was already uploaded. This can be useful if you needed to make an edit to the existing image and have it update anywhere where this image is being used already.
- Download will allow you to download the full resolution original file image file that was uploaded. If you choose to download one image, it will download immediately in your browser. If you select multiple images to download, a zip file will be sent to your account's primary email address.
- Delete will delete the image from the Smart Media Folder and place it in your account's Trash. Images that are deleted will remain in the account Trash Folder for 30 days before being permanently removed.
- You can also use the Add Media button to upload images directly to the Smart Media Folder as Website images or Thumbnail images.
