When selling through your Zenfolio account, it is essential to be aware of the location where you can access a comprehensive report containing details of all orders that have been successfully placed and shipped to your customers. These reports furnish you with a comprehensive summary of your account's sales, enabling you to stay informed about the financial data associated with your business.
To access the Reports in your account, click on the Reports icon on the left-hand side of your account Dashboard pages.
Viewing Reports
After accessing the Reports page, you will observe that the page is initially filtered to display all orders from the current year. You can then proceed to review this information.
- At the top of the Reports page, you will see a quick overview of orders placed this week, total sales this month, and total sales for this year.
- If you need to locate a very specific order, you can search for the order number, customer name, customer email address, etc.
- In the list of reports the order number will appear on the left-hand side and this particular column of information will stay visible as you scroll horizontally through the various columns of information.
- Speaking of the columns of information, you can use the gear icon on the right-hand side to select which columns of information will be visible.
- At the very bottom of the reports list you will see the cumulative totals of each applicable column. Like the order number, this row of information will remain visible as you scroll through the list of orders. Note: If you ever want to hide the column totals row, you can uncheck this option at the top of the reports list.
- And if you ever want to view your Stripe or PayPal payment processor accounts directly, you can use the button in the top right-hand corner to view those accounts.
When viewing the list of reports, you have the option to click on the column headers (such as date, amount, etc.) in order to modify the order in which the results are presented, either in ascending or descending order.
Filtering Reports
The default filtering of the Reports page is set to display information for the current year up to the current date. However, you have the option to customize the filtering to specify the orders for which you want to view information.
- On the Reports page, click on the Filtering button.
- Use the calendar icon to change the filtering time range. If you choose Custom, you will be able to select a start and end date from the calendar.
- Use the All Payment Types dropdown menu to view all payment types, only orders paid via Stripe, or only orders paid view PayPal.
- Use the All Orders dropdown menu to view all orders, only orders with a discount, or only orders that were placed with a coupon.
When utilizing these sorting tools, the list of reports will exclusively exhibit orders that meet the criteria of all selected filters. It is possible to modify the order in which the results are presented by clicking on the column headers (such as date, amount, etc.) to toggle between ascending and descending order.
Exporting Reports
If necessary, you also have the option to export your list of reports for record-keeping purposes. By clicking on the Export button located in the top right-hand corner of the reports list, a CSV spreadsheet file will be downloaded. This file can be opened using your computer's native spreadsheet program or other tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
It is important to note that only the data that corresponds to the selected filters will be included in the exported report.
