Zenfolio is an online photo-hosting platform utilized by your photographer to showcase and promote their photographs.
Through their website, photographers have the capability to sell their images. Additionally, they can offer various products that feature these images in printed form.
The primary mechanism for ordering photographs and products is the Shop button. If the photographer has enabled selling, this button will be prominently displayed on the majority of gallery pages in the upper right corner, or a shopping cart icon will appear over each photograph. In this guide, you will learn how to add products to your shopping cart, edit/preview the print, and complete the checkout process.
If the Shop button is not visible, it indicates that the photographer has disabled the selling feature. In such instances, it is advisable to reach out to the photographer directly to express your interest in purchasing the photographs.
Adding Products to the Shopping Cart using the Shop button
To initiate a purchase, please navigate to the Gallery from which you wish to acquire a photograph. Click on the Shop button located in the upper right-hand corner above the photo thumbnails.
The shop will then slide into view from the side of the page, allowing you to begin selecting your desired product.
Please select the category of the product you wish to purchase, and subsequently choose the specific size of the product.
As you have accessed the Shop without initially selecting an image, you will now need to click on the Select Prints button to choose the images you would like to have printed with the selected product.
Once you have selected the photographs you wish to have printed with the product, you may proceed to check or edit the cropping of the photo(s) and view a preview of the photo in the Product Previewer.
On this page, you will also have the opportunity to select various options that may be available for the print, such as paper type, framing, quantity of prints, and more.
After confirming that the cropping of the photo is accurate and selecting all desired options for this print, please click on Add To Cart.
Editing the Cropping
When adjusting the cropping of a photograph, you will be determining the specific portion of the image that will be printed. It is crucial to ensure that the cropping is accurate to avoid ordering a print that omits significant elements of the image.
Among the cropping options, you can modify the crop size by selecting one of the corner points displayed on the photograph itself, and you may also utilize the image size slider to zoom in and out on the image.
Should you wish to revert the crop to its default settings, please click on the Reset button. Additionally, if you desire to rotate the orientation of the cropping area, click on the Orientation button.
After finalizing the cropping adjustments, please click on Apply.
Previewing Print With The Product Previewer
With the Product Previewer, you can obtain a visual representation of how the printed photograph may appear when positioned on a shelf, desk, or other locations. This feature may assist you in determining whether the selected print size is suitable for your requirements.
