Whether you have your own custom logo or if you are going to use just a simple text logo, you can set up your website with either of these. With your Zenfolio account, if you have your own custom logo, you'll be able to upload a Primary/Alternate logo, image/text Watermarks, and a Favicon to customize the icon that appears in browser tabs.
For more information about creating a logo image that will work best with your website, see this article here.
**Note: To maximize the size of your logo, it is recommended to use a wide landscape orientation logo image, instead of a square or vertical orientation logo image.

Adding A Watermark To Your Account
In addition to password protection, adding a watermark to the photos and videos in your Galleries is a good way to help prevent unauthorized use of the content. While you cannot prevent clients or visitors from capturing screenshots of the content in your client Galleries, the watermark will help prove that they do not possess ownership of the content. For those with a ProSuite subscription, you can add up to three total Watermarks.
Note: The watermark image file must be a PNG file that is least 180 x 90 pixels in size. A 500x500 px transparent PNG is recommended.
To add a watermark to your account, follow these steps:
- Login to your account and click on your name in the top right-hand corner.
- Choose Account Settings from the dropdown menu that appears.
- Make sure that you're viewing the Account tab.
- Click on the Watermarks option, or scroll down the page to the watermarks section.
- Click on the Add Watermark icon to upload your watermark image.
- Choose whether you want to create a basic Text Watermark or if you want to upload an Image Watermark .
- Click Next.
Creating Text Watermark
After selecting to upload a Text Watermark, click on the Watermark Text box, and select enter in the text you want to appear as your Watermark. Once you get the text entered in to be used as your Watermark, you can then adjust the settings of the Watermark to determine what it looks like on the actual photos of your Galleries.
You can adjust the font style, color, whether or not there's a drop shadow, as well as adjusting the scale, opacity, and location of the watermark. Be sure to Save the watermark once you've completed adjusting it to be how you'd like to appear on your photos.
Uploading Image Watermark
After selecting to upload an Image Watermark, click on the Browse Computer button, and select the watermark PNG file from your computer. Once you get the file selected to be used as your Watermark, you can then adjust the settings of the watermark to determine what it looks like on the actual photos and videos of your Galleries.
You can adjust whether or not there's a drop shadow, as well as adjusting the scale, opacity, and location of the watermark. Be sure to Save the watermark once you've completed adjusting it to be how you'd like to appear on your photos.
Adding The Created Watermark To Your Gallery Photos and Videos
Once you have created the watermark, you can then choose which Galleries you'd like to add the watermark to. When adding the watermark to a Gallery, it will get added to all photos within that Gallery – you can also add watermarks to any videos you'd like, as well. The content will need to render in new display versions, after uploading, which can take some time.
*Note: Watermarks will only appear on photos and videos within the actual shared client Gallery or linked Galleries on the website. Photos and videos added to your website through Image Blocks will not feature the watermark. If you would like watermarked content to appear in these areas of your actual website, you must upload watermarked versions for use on your website.
