Before you can get to selling products for your photos, you'll need to choose your account's selling currency and connect your account to Stripe so that you can get paid. Stripe is a nationally acclaimed payment processor that is trusted by popular brands such as Target and Instacart. In addition to being a PCI compliant payment processor, Stripe is integrated to work seamlessly with orders placed through your Zenfolio website.
Payments made for orders sold through Zenfolio services using Stripe will be delivered within 3-5 business days to the bank account or debit card associated with your Stripe account. There is a service fee of 9.9%* per order. *Includes credit card company processing fees. You keep the rest minus any lab costs for physical products.
Choose Selling Currency
Your first step in getting started with selling through your account will be to choose a currency that you will sell products in. Currently the accepted currencies are USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD, and Euro. For those in countries using other currencies, you still must choose one of these currencies to use for selling in your account. Note: The default selling currency will be based on the currency of your subscription.
Follow these steps to select your account's selling currency:
- In your account, click on the
Selling icon, on the left-hand side.
- From the Selling page, choose the Settings tab.
- Scroll to the bottom of this page, to the Currency section. Click on Change.
- Select the currency you'd like to use, and click Save.
Connect to Stripe
To get your Zenfolio account connected to Stripe, so that you can begin selling products through your Galleries, follow these steps:
- In your Zenfolio account, click on the
Selling icon.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Click on the Connect Stripe button.
You will be directed to Stripe to complete the sign up and connection. Follow the sign up process through Stripe and be sure to confirm your Stripe account. You will not be able to begin selling through your Zenfolio account until all information has been provided and confirmed through Stripe.
Once your Stripe connection is complete, you'll be able to access your Stripe account at any time through the Selling Settings page.
Also, from the Selling Settings page, you can change the Payment Processing Name. This is going to be the name that appears on your client's bank statement for their purchases.
- In your account, go to the
Selling section.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Enter in your business name or whatever you'd like to appear on your client's bank statement.
