While creating and sharing Galleries with clients is a great way to get your photos to someone specific, you can also place Galleries on your actual website, to allow regular visitors a way to view some of your work. Through the use of the Featured Galleries Block, you can create a place on your website where visitors can access specific Galleries, Pages, or external URL links.
- Click on the Website icon, on the left-hand side, to access the Editor.
- Click on the Navigation icon and select the Page where you want to add the Featured Galleries Block.
- On this selected page, click on the icon in the place you want to add the new Block.
- Choose one of the Featured Galleries blocks, under Content Blocks. In this example, we will use Featured Galleries 1.
Once you add the Block, the options for it will appear on the left-hand side. In these options you can:
- Choose which type of devices this Block will appear on.
- Edit the Title and Body text that will appear in the Block; including the alignment of that text, as well as the padding and divider of the Block.
- You can also choose the Background color and Scroll effect.
- Lastly, on the right-hand side of the page, you can Move, Duplicate, Change Layout, or Delete the Block.
In the Images section of these options you can add, remove, and edit the different items that will be featured.
- Click on one of the featured item you want to edit. You can also use the icon to edit, hide, or delete the item.
- Select whether this will link to a Gallery, Page, or URL. Then select the Source, choose a Page, or enter the URL.
- Gallery will allow you to select a gallery right from your account.
- Page will allow you to link to any page on your website.
- URL will allow you to link to any web address URL.
- Once you've selected where you want to link to, change the Title and Body text to provide more detail about what the Featured item is.
- You can then replace the photo being used.
Once you've completed making changes, you can click on on Back to go back to the main Featured Galleries Block options. Be sure to Publish to make your changes live on your actual website, when you're ready.
