All Zenfolio accounts are configured to automatically renew on the renewal date, which typically corresponds to the initial sign-up date for the paid subscription, occurring either monthly or annually.
Why might an account not renew automatically?
- Request to disable automatic renewal for the current subscription has been made.
- The billing information has expired or is invalid, leading to the inability to process the payment.
- The charge attempted has been declined by the bank.
Viewing Current Active Subscription
To view your account's current active subscription follow these steps:
- Access your account and click on your name located in the top right-hand corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account Settings.
- Within the Account Settings, go to the Billing tab.
- Locate the Subscription section.
- Your Current Plan will be indicated here. You can also see the plan price, details about the plan's features, and the renewal date of the plan. The change plan option can be used to downgrade, upgrade, or change your billing frequency.

Viewing and Updating Payment Information
To ensure uninterrupted service, it is recommended to verify the accuracy of your Billing Information. Please follow these steps to add or update your account's Billing information:
- Access your account and click on your name located in the top right-hand corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account Settings.
- Within the Account Settings, go to the Billing tab.
- Locate the Credit Card section.
- Click on update card pencil icon to modify the card number associated with your account. Save your changes by clicking Save.
- If necessary, updates to the Billing Address can also be completed in this section.
Viewing Your Billing History
You can access your account's Billing History through the Billing page in your Account Settings. This feature allows you to review past payments and download receipts for each transaction.
- Access your account and click on your name located in the top right-hand corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account Settings.
- Within the Account Settings, go to the Billing tab.
- Locate the Billing History section.
- The billing history of your account will be displayed in this section. Click on a specific invoice number for detailed information.
- For each payment, you can access a receipt by selecting Download Receipt to keep a record of the transaction.
Changing Your Subscription Plan
If you're wanting to downgrade, upgrade, or change your billing frequency this can be initiated at any time during your current subscription.
- Access your account and click on your name located in the top right-hand corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select Account Settings.
- Within the Account Settings, go to the Billing tab.
- Locate the Subscription section.
- Click on Change Plan.
You will be presented with the different options available for your account.
Upgrades
To upgrade your Zenfolio plan, select a plan level that is higher than the indicated current plan. You can also determine the billing frequency of the new plan level (Monthly or Yearly). Once your selection is made, click on Upgrade Now.
Your new plan will be effective immediately and will be prorated until the next billing period.
Downgrades
To downgrade your Zenfolio plan, select a plan level that is lower than the indicated current plan. You can also determine the billing frequency of the new plan level (Monthly or Yearly). Once your selection is made, click on Downgrade. When doing this, you will be presented with the features that will be lost when performing this downgrade and you must confirm that you'd like to move forward.
Your new plan will be effective at the beginning of your next billing period. If you decide you do not want to downgrade, before the change takes place, you will be able to come back to this page and change your plan selection again.
Billing Frequency
If you would like to stay on the same plan level, but change the billing frequency at which you're charged for your account's renewal, select a the Yearly or Monthly option under the current plan. Once your selection is made, click on Update.
Your new billing frequency will be effective at the beginning of your next billing period. If you decide you want to stay with you the same billing frequency, before the change takes place, you will be able to come back to this page and change your plan selection again.
