When am I billed?
Subscribers will be invoiced at the conclusion of each annual or monthly period for subscription extensions, which will be contingent on the date of the original subscription initiation. For example, if the initial monthly subscription commenced on January 21, subsequent invoices will be issued on February 21, March 21, and so forth.
How much will I be billed?
The amount you are invoiced is contingent upon the plan level to which you are subscribed. To access your current renewal rate, please navigate to Account Settings > Billing > Subscription within your account.

Please be advised that Zenfolio will occasionally provide promotional discounts for NEW annual subscriptions. These promotional rates are specifically for the initial year of new accounts and are not valid for the renewal or upgrade of existing accounts.
Why was I billed automatically?
As outlined in our Terms of Service, all Zenfolio accounts undergo automatic renewal at the conclusion of each annual or monthly subscription term, based on the chosen renewal interval during account setup. To facilitate a successful automatic renewal and maintain the activity of your account/website, it is essential to keep an active payment method associated with your account continuously. Should you opt not to proceed with the renewal of your account, kindly reach out to our support team through this link, at least 2 days before the account renews.
Where can I find my billing receipt?
Upon successful payment of an account's subscription, a confirmation receipt is automatically sent to the email address linked to the account. In the event that the confirmation email is not received or an additional receipt is required, we kindly ask you to reach out to our support team using the email address associated with your account. This will enable us to promptly assist you with the required receipt.
The card on file was expired, how was I charged?
Several financial institutions currently offer a service that updates payment information when a subscription service's payment processor tries to charge an expired card. This service, provided by your bank, enables automatic renewal of your account even if the card on file has expired, in instances where you may have overlooked updating the payment details. If you prefer not to authorize your bank to share updated payment information with payment processors, it is advisable to get in touch with your bank to address these services.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
If you wish to terminate your subscription, we kindly request that you utilize the chat support to reach out to our support team. As a courtesy, we are prepared to offer a refund for cancellations made within 30 days of initial signup or annual plan renewal; however, refunds cannot be guaranteed for subscriptions or renewals exceeding the 30-day period. Refunds are not available for cancellations of monthly plans.
What is this charge on my credit card?
If you have noticed a charge from Zenfolio on your credit card statement and seek further clarification regarding this transaction, we kindly encourage you to reach out to our support team with the exact details of the charge. (i.e. charge date, exact charge amount, last 4 numbers of card charged) While this charge is most probably associated with the regular renewal of your account subscription, we are available to provide assistance and conduct a thorough investigation to validate this information.
What are all of the fees associated with my account?
Below is a list of potential charges:
- The primary subscription fee linked to your plan.
- Sales Tax applied to the subscription payment, if mandated by local US sales tax regulations.
- Subscription fees for additional selected add-ons (such as BookMe, Video/Photo storage, etc.).
- Commerce fees and Payment Processing Fees related to product orders sold to customers.
There is a commerce fee of 7% per order (calculated on the order sub-total, excluding tax and shipping) and an additional payment processing fee* (calculated on the order total, including tax and shipping). If a discount is applied to an order, the commerce fee will be calculated after the discount.
