When am I billed?
You will be billed at the end of each yearly or monthly term for subscription renewals (this varies based on the date that you initially subscribed). For example, if your initial monthly subscription started on January 21, you would be billed for the next month on February 21, March 21, and so on.
How much will I be billed?
How much you are billed depends on which plan level you are subscribed to. To view your current renewal rate, in your account, go to Account Settings > Billing > Subscription.

Note: Zenfolio will periodically offer promotional discounts for NEW annual subscriptions. These promotional prices are only applicable for the first year of new accounts, and cannot be applied to existing account renewals or upgrades.
Why was I billed automatically?
As per our Terms of Service, all Zenfolio accounts are automatically renewed at the end of each yearly or monthly subscription period, depending on the renewal frequency chosen when creating your account. To ensure that the account automatically renews successfully, and your account/website remains active, it is required that an active form of payment remains present on your account at all times. If you do not wish to renew your account, please contact our support team.
The card on file was expired, how was I charged?
Many banks now provide an updated form of payment when a the payment processor of a subscription service attempts to charge an expired card. This is a service provided by your bank and it allows your account to renew automatically even if the card on file might be, in the case that you've forgotten to update the payment information. If you do not wish to allow your bank to provide payment processors with updated payment information, it is best to contact your bank regarding these services.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
We would really hate to see you go, but if you do need to cancel your subscription, please use the LiveChat button in the bottom right-hand corner of your account pages to contact our support team.
We are happy to provide a refund if you are within 30 days of signing up or renewing your annual plan, but we are not able to guarantee a refund if you are over 30 days into your subscription or renewal. Unfortunately, we do not provide refunds for monthly plan cancellations.
What is this charge on my credit card?
If there is a charge from Zenfolio on your credit card statement and you would like to know more about the charge, please contact our support team using the LiveChat bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of your account pages. This charge is likely your account's regular subscription renewal charge, but we can assist and look into this further to confirm.
What are all of the fees associated with my account?
Here is a full list of fees you may be charged:
- The primary subscription fee associated with your plan.
- Sales Tax charged on subscription payment, if applicable to local US sales tax laws.
- Subscription fees for additional selected add-ons (BookMe, Video/Photo storage, etc.).
- Commerce fees and Payment Processing Fees associated with product orders sold to clients.
There is a commerce fee of 7% per order (calculated on the order sub-total, excluding tax and shipping) and an additional payment processing fee* (calculated on the order total, including tax and shipping).
*The exact Payment Processing Fee differs based on form of payment and location of seller. There may also be a difference in the Payment Processing Fee if the client is deemed international. Click HERE for more information regarding the fees involved with selling.
