The Show Website Navigation Bar setting displays your website’s navigation menu at the top of a Gallery, including when it is accessed through a standalone link. This feature makes each shared Gallery a convenient gateway to the rest of your website and business.

What Does the Website Navigation Bar Do?
When you turn on Show Website Navigation Bar for a Gallery, anyone who visits the standalone Gallery link will see your website's navigation appear at the top of that Gallery page, just as if they were browsing your main website.
By default, we'll use the same website navigation you've already set up on your website.
| Note: If your website is set up to use a left-side navigation, we'll use a top navigation instead when displaying it on your Gallery. In this case, your navigation will use Layout A, and your logo will not be shown. |
Requirement: A Published Website
You can only turn on Show Website Navigation Bar if your website has been published. If you haven't published your website yet, this toggle will not be available to turn on.
Under the toggle, you'll see a note that reads "A published website is required to turn this on," along with a Learn More link that will bring you back to this article.

Why Turn On the Website Navigation Bar?
Turning this on lets your website navigation appear on your standalone Gallery link — the same link your clients receive when you click Share and send them their Gallery via email. This makes it a great marketing tool: it gives clients an easy way to click through from their Gallery into other parts of your website while they're already engaged with your work.
Example Use Case: Say you're a volume photographer who also shoots portraits. A client picks up their team photos through a Gallery link you emailed them. With the website navigation bar turned on, that same client can click through to your website's navigation right from their Gallery — discovering your portrait offerings and potentially booking a session they didn't know you offered.
Turning On the Website Navigation Bar
- In your Zenfolio account, click on the Galleries icon on the far left side.
- Open the Gallery you'd like to edit.
- Navigate to the Gallery's Design tab.
- Select to view the Layout & Display section.
- At the bottom of this section, find the Show Website Navigation Bar toggle and switch it ON.
Once turned this option on, your website navigation will automatically appear at the top of the standalone Gallery link for that Gallery, no further setup required.
